Living With Christ Honors The Legacy Of The Assumptionists And Their Founder

WORCESTER, MA – As we approach the month of November, a time traditionally dedicated to remembering the faithful departed, we at Living with Christ are preparing a special tribute to the founder of the Assumptionists, Venerable Emmanuel d’Alzon, who passed away 145 years ago on November 21, 1880.

We are proud to be sponsored by the Augustinians of the Assumption (A.A.), also known as the Assumptionists. Guided by their powerful motto, “Thy Kingdom Come!”, the Assumptionists are committed to a global mission of building God’s kingdom in the world and within each of us.

This mission continues to inspire our work at Bayard and at Living with Christ, where we strive to support the spiritual lives of our readers through daily prayer and reflection. We are honored to contribute in our own way to the Assumptionists’ vision and values.

In our upcoming November issue, we invite readers to join us in prayer for Fr. d’Alzon and all those who have gone before us in faith. His legacy of faith, education, and social justice continues to shape the community’s mission today.

Subscribers will receive this special issue as part of your subscription.
